Among the resources available for university instruction is this KUKA robot from the Chair of Manufacturing Engineering, which students can use to take their first steps in programming. The acquisition of the robot, a joint effort between the Fraunhofer Institute and the University of Rostock, makes it possible to directly pass on expertise in the field of robotics to the students. Here, they can apply their theoretical knowledge to practical applications.
